SILICON

(SiO2 25%, K2O 12%)

Contains 25% Monosilicic Acid, 12% potassium, Compatible with hydroponic systems

Decrease of cereals lodging, cell wall strength and fruit cracking, increase of resistance to pests and diseases, light absorption efficiency, reduce of evaporation from plant surfaces and increase of antioxidant enzyme activity.

In silicon formulation, the combination of silica with potassium, zinc, boron and molybdenum elements not only reduces the deficiencies of these elements in plants but also has an increased effect on silica uptake and improves product quality and yield. Silicon in Hydroponic systems or foliar application enhances physical resistance and antioxidant enzyme activities therefore increases shelf life in vegetables and greenhouse products. This compound is effective in reducing cracking of orange and pomegranate fruits and reducing tomato crush. Rice production requires large amounts of silica, and using this combination in paddy fields can reduce leaves overlap (reduce shading and increase sunlight absorption), resulting in less consumption of urea fertilizer, and ultimately rice yield increase.
